I can't take all of the credit; I was inspired by a girl at my class at the Fashion Institute of Technology, who had painted her keds with small polka dots. So when I didn't have much homework, and had nowhere to be, I decided to get creative and get out the paint. I went a little early so that I could hang around the tents, and see fashionable people. I even got to go backstage before the show! Backstage was hectic but fun. My favorite backstager was a photographer with a shirt saying "nobody knows I'm a lesbian".
